All kidding aside, I think that if the reps are paid on a commission basis that this has a LOT to do with what they push. And, no, I don't think it takes an MBA to figure this one out. <s> Every individual is going to 'push' the product that gives them the most return for the least effort. That's called human nature. If there is indeed a commission basis for sles and VFP is not a top producer we'd be in total agreement - the reps won't push it.

Which is an entirely separate issue than many of the others her regarding marketing, and so forth.

IMO if MSFT wants to really push VFP 8 then they should consider 'spiffs' for promoting it to their reps. But, that's not my balliwick.
