>>>Just another tought, if God is omniscient & knows the future, then doesn't that automatically deny that we have free-will. If God knows the future then all of our actions are pre-ordained, there is nothing we can do to change things, so need take no responsibility for what we do.
>>
>>No.. God granting us free will also includes requiring us to take responsibility for the exercise of the same. I have been granted the right to drive; I must also prove myself a responsible driver. God has given man free will and will hold him accountable for its use and abuse. It's where we get the notion of personal responsibility actually.

>If he's omniscient, then he knows the future, there's nothing we can do to change that, so we don't have free will or responsibility. Or we have free will, have the possibility of changing our actions in ways that God doesn't know about so he isn't omniscient.
Not quite correct. He knows the future but that doesn't mean it cannot change but change only happens from our pov. Two different perspectives. From
our perspective we see the changes; from His He can see both the changes
and the final result or position(s). IOW, He knows if we change if that makes sense. He knows the end before the beginning as they are all the same. He has no need to change but we do. We still have free will and God already knows how we are going to exercise that free will. IOW, we're 'stuck' in time and He's not. He's not "bound" by the same rules we are though He apparently has chosen to bind Himself with respect to His respecting the choices we make.

A man is no fool who gives up that which he cannot keep for that which he cannot lose.
Everything I don't understand must be easy!
The difficulty of any task is measured by the capacity of the agent performing the work.
