I agree. $40-$80 per distro is dust on the table compared to the alternative OS choices (especially when you can legally use that purchase to install as many machines as you want).
Compare that to Windows Pro/XP/Server - times how many machines?
I'm wondering if the day will come that I'll keep windows machine(s) around only for testing installs or because of some desirable software that just isn't there yet on Linux.
I'm certainly not there now. But I'm wonderin.... :)
