Dynazip costs money, I assume? In that case, it would be difficult to convince the fellows here to buy it, especially if there are free alternatives! I use pacomp.exe, the command-line version of PowerArchiver (free up to version 6, no longer free for version 7).
Besides, compressing to CAB takes up about 30% less space than ZIP! Mainly because all files are compressed as a group, not individually.

Yes, it seems the information I got from Ed is exactly what I need. Unfortunately, I will have to postpone the tests, or enhancements, due to other urgent matters.

Certainly, I am not accustomed to use the ß, although I know where to find it on the keyboard! I also understand that replacing ß with ss can, in rare circumstances, cause confusion ("Trinke den Wein in Maßen, nicht in Massen.")
