As Craig said, CR is a totally different beast from VFP Report Writer. And, believe me, if someone deeply knows CR inside the VFP community, this is Craig.

You can make highly complex reports, have native options for things like "n of m", and much more, and the preview features are really impressive.

Just to mention something, if you make a group by customer (for example), the preview allows you to jump to any customer from a list at one side of the window.

I think you should try it. There must be some trial at the web site. Also, there are some cool controls you can use use for free.
