For example, if I have a report that shows all sales reps and their sales for the year, I only want to see the top 5 of them in a pie chart, with each slice showing the % they added to the total sales. There would also be an "Other" slice for the rest of the sales reps (not in the top 5).

The answer is "Yes". I guess I should have tried this before posting the question. I just assumed it was going to be difficult. After creating the chart, select it. Then go up to Report and select Top N/Sort Group Expert. Now you can select "Top N" based on a field, where N is some number. You can also check a box that says "include Others, with the name...". Very simple.
