As you have seen, there is nothing to stop you doning this. You will probably have to have the VFP and application support libraries on each client that tries to run the EXE. You will also probably notice a performance decrease as the EXE will have to be run over the network. The advantage is as you say, you only have one place to maintain it.

>Could you help me here that terminal server is the right choice to do so? >and also , will it work smooth? are there any known issues.?

I put a VFP app under terminal services with very few problems. In fact the only issue outstaning is the codepage translations as we had an international client base using a variety of character sets.

I certainly believe terminal services is a good approach. It avoids the disadvantage of having the exe run directly over the network, by only transmitting screen images and clicks and gives you all the maintenance advantages of having a concentric app. Obviously, you will need to install the support libraries on the terminal server.

In our testing, our app ran very smoothly over the LAN, and was usable over a dial up connection... even through a mobile phone at 9.6K (although I wouldn't recommend it)

Best Of Luck
