I was talking about design time. In design time you should be able to take out control from the grid's column. I did it lots of times successfully. I'm not sure, what is wrong with this particular form. May be the fact, that grid is on the pageframe (but it should not make a difference) or the fact, that this form clears macros...

Anyway, since I was unable to do it my usual visual way, I had to do it programmatically.

>It did delete the control, and recreated it right away. A column can't exist without a current control, so when you remove that one, it creates a new one automatically. So you should add your new textbox first, then kill the old one, and (optionally) rename it to text1 (if your code mentions the name anywhere).
