Virusim,

I am not familiar with SQL Crystal Designer or the other SQL string query command that you mentioned. Maybe that's new in Version 8.5 and I have Version 8 or else I have never used it in Version 8. I always use Crystal formulas in the Record Selection Expert when I design a report to select the records I want in my report. Or I do SELECT-SQL inside Visual FoxPro and then have Crystal read that DBF.

Sometimes I can't get exactly the records I want in the Record Selection Process and have to let more than what I want slide thru and catch them later (suppress them) using the Suppress Group options formulas in the report design mode.

Someone else might know more about this. There are probably other ways to grab the data you want to report, but I am not familiar with other ways.

Have a good day or night as the case may be.
