Hello all,

I am planning to use SQL server (due to 2GB limitation of VFP) but I am thinking which language to use as a front end. VB or VFP ?

Note : I am using VFP the past 2 years and I have little experience with VB.

There is any document to explain the differences of using VFP or VB with SQL Server? Why most of the people using VB with SQL Server instead of VFP with SQL Server?

I think the Microsoft technologies to communicate are exactly the same for both languages (ODBC /ADO)

Is VB objects (eg grids) are faster than VFP ?
Is VFP have any problems /bugs with the communication ?
