We actually already did that as kind of a stop-gap fix. We began to see things that weren't working correctly in the DOS programs as our app was run on newer OS versions. We wanted to get out of the DOS arena so we did just what you suggested.

Believe it or not, it was relatively painless. We had a few hiccups to take care of but it was much more painless than a re-write.

We're at the point now where we'd like to move into the OOP realm. Once again we're trying to leverage our work as much as possible. That's why we're trying to programatically create the .scx's from our says & gets in our .prgs.
