Hi,

Am just starting on a small from our database (VFP) to a Notes database and I have suggested we use XML to move some info back and forth. I noticed that in the notes for CURSORTOXML() that it gives 3 basic options for the XML output (Element-centric [the default], Attribute-centric and Raw).

Since both myself and the Notes guy are XML newbies, is there one format that is "better" to use (ie more of a "standard") than the others? Would this just be the default one that VFP outputs to? I figure no use outputting in a form that is really not much of a standard.

Thought I would ask here instead of going and buying one of those big fat books on XML in the bookstore....which are probably out of date anyhow!

Thanks,
Albert
