Hi Barry,
I know this is late, but I'll put in my $.02 anyway.
Seems to me that the 2 instances are using the same IDX file on the the disk.
Try creating a different IDX for each instance.
local lc
lc = 'Index' + transform(set('DataSession'))
ie: Index on < whatever > to &lc
