At what point do you get the error? At some reproducible point in the VFP program? Or, when a PC tries to dial the modem? What software other than the VFP executable is running on the workstations?
Are there truly no printer drivers installed on the workstations - i.e. no-one can print at all? Be aware that some programs like WinFax and Adobe Acrobat Distiller install as printer drivers.
