Hello Craig

dumb question (well I feel it's dumb)

wouldn't "decreased network traffic" equate to more speed, doesn't less traffic mean the traffic will move smoother i.e. faster

just the way I think a network is run and handled

>>Dear All,

>>I have a general question:
>>We are looking now on having our FoxPro database changed to SQL Server as a back database with the VFP forms and interface as a front interface.
>>What I am curious to know is how fast could SQL be in comparison to VFP.

>>In the past I was told that my data must be very big in order to really have any profit from SQL, as for small database it is better and faster to process data in VFP. Is it correct? and if so to what data size and extend?

>>Thanks
