There are all sorts of problems with disabled items it lst/cbo objects. And they go way back. I think it's also under some conditions possible to keyboard select disabled items...

I decided to just simply never put disabled items into these controls, if they can't select the item, why use up the control space in the first place?

Unless you like to tease your users... see all these cool things... but you can't select them nyah, nyah. *bg*
