It's not that I *like* the signal-to-noise ratio on UT. Just that it is acceptable to me.

I am all for improving the UT, and I certainly think that some mechanism that could accomplish what you suggest would be excellent. Just so long as it wasn't intrusive. Maybe some way to give an option for such on a message basis.

By the way, some of our best here use false logins. At least I'm quite sure I know of one.
