Hopefully this is the right forum; if not, my apologies up front.

I just installed VSS 5 on a network drive. Then installed client on my computer. I then added an existing project to source control.

This *seems* to be working except for 1 (large) problem. VSS is telling me that my database is read only. I can't change any of the connections or views...

Does anyone have any experience with this? I have searched for an answer everywhere I can think of but to no avail. I am pretty much dead in the water until I can resolve this.

Also, if anyone can point me in the right direction to find materials concerning the use of VSS I would appreciate it. There seems to be a dearth of info on this application.
