Hi!

If I grab the winsock LocalIP property from a machine without a LAN card- and consequently without a user-defined IP address- will winsock always return the IP as 127.0.0.1 ? That's what I always get on my WinME machine.

Btw, can I assign a fixed IP to my PC even without a LAN card?
