Hi Cecil.

Read Joe Lawson's response on the ProMatrix Data Server technology... This is critical to extending VPME data dictionary (if you use VPME) to the Web.

There soon is going to be a ton of us doing ASP.NET with VFP COM/VPME Data Server Middle Tier (and C# COM business objects) and (for I) SQL Server back end work... Ok, I left out the folks who love PHP, Dreamweaver and Flash stuff, ect... But, I am a Microsoft Developer after all <g>..

Also, for a VFP database developer - there are a ton of products to help get apps to the Web outside of traditional frameworks...

Don't forget...

The reason we must rewrite this thing is that many clients have gone away from a once vibrant company, since the days of DOS went away for the majority of users. In order to regain the market, we need to have our app in the Windows environment and FoxPro was the tool we desired to use. I mean, what else is there that does such a fine job? And so then this led us to searching for a framework, and then me getting stung by so many people I had offended,...<g>
