I couldn't agree more. As I mentioned, I use VPM but I think it's great to have a well-ordered (well, sort of for this place. <g>) discussion on the merits pro & con and features of all the various frameworks. Everyone should be congratulated for avoiding the tendency towards feeling protective and defensive about their framework of choice. Kudos to all IMO.

I'd bet that most of the "newbies" here who may be lurking have learned not only that VPM has a lot of great features but that having a framework is, in itself, a hugely good step forward in the productivity arena. I'd be willing to put $100 on the table that any of the currently available frameworks will give at least a doubling of overall productivity, if only in the notion of reducing future maintenance headaches.
