My first guess is that there is no corruption in your table or memo field.

To begin, it sounds like you may be using a textbox for a memo field instead of an editbox.

Memo fields will say 'memo' when they are empty or 'Memo' when they contain data when you use a textbox instead of an editbox.

If you are using a textbox for a memo field, how do you close your editing window after you are through entering data?

How is the table with memo fields buffered?

If buffering is on, what is your line of code that updates records?

Do you change many records and then update once?

Are you entering data through a grid?
