Gary,

>>I haven't tested this but it is there or thereabouts. The only thing I am not to sure on is the third argument which I have specified as the empty string ''. Either this value will specify the Local name value the same as the cKey value itself, or, you may have to specify an actual value on a new, first time key creation (ie., of the local name is the same, specify "My Caption Stuff"). Either way, a couple of calls and you should have what you want.<<

It almost does what I want it to, but not quiet. When I use code similar to what you gave, it does give a "Message.Captions.MyStuff" key, however it is not one that I can check "Edit Value" for (you can rightclick on the created key and select Edit Key, but that is not the same). I need to have the "Edit Value" items populated. In other words, I am trying to create some keys that act like "Message.Captions.Apply", "Message.Captions.Close", etc. Do you know how I can do this?

Again, thanks.
