The one example that I will give you is our current undertaking for the DFES (Government). We have implemented both VFP COM object and Web Services (the first for the government if I am not correct) on a large SQL Server database. Again it works and the managment for the government department are unaware of VFP, they don't care as long as it works.

When we where originally designing the solution I encountered a similiar attitude when dealing with the Governments head architect. When I told him we could deploy web services today without waiting for .NET he said that would be nice and future proof their investment!

Ignorance is hardly the background they should be coming from when spending our money is it?
