Hi all,

I have an application where I need to copy zipped files across a wan. These copies can take from 30 seconds to 10 minutes. I would like to put in some kind of visual indicator for the user so they know what is going on and be able to guess how long it will take. A progress themometer would be nice, but I would at least settle for the style of message box that shows the papers flying across into the folder. At least then, they would know something was going on.

I thought there might be an Active-x control or maybe an API call ?
