What you say about caching makes sense, but it's not true with Win2K. If Write Cache is enabled (the default), Win2K will let data sit in cache for extended lengths of time. I've made modfications to a form, saved it, and closed it, only to have the form become corrupted when Win2K freezes up 30 minutes later. This happened numerous times until I solved the problem with Win2K freezing up.

My understanding is that this problem was a VFP 6.0 (and prior?) problem and that it was fixed in VFP 7.0.

I cannot say for sure because I've not had a W2K crash blue screen in quite a while.
