I get the *EXACT* same weird cycling.
My results are: 1.141, 1.047, then: 1.437, 1.063, 1.437, 1.063, ... {repeat}

It makes it tough to do time trials!

I wonder what's causing this. I never had anything close to this problem until I switched to this XP box 6 months ago or so.
