I couldn't care less about Michael Newdow or even about atheism in this instance. I think the decision is right and that the phrase "under God" doesn't belong in the pledge. I honestly believe the pledge is stronger and more meaningful without it:

... one nation, indivisible, ...

As soon as you insert "under God" in there, you've just divided it.
