>Right. So howzabout we either completely remove "under God" .OR. that we better explain what is meant by "under God"? For example:
> "under < your God's name here > God"
> "under quite a few different Gods"
> "under the Goddess too"
> "mostly under God"
> "under God part-time"
> "some under God, some don't personify a divinity"

>And what's it mean to say "under" anyway. Most of the staunch-types on this thread would be more truthful (to their God, of course, not you) if they recited "at the right hand of God" :-)

Steven;
Coming from a Catholic education, we were taught that “God is on the right hand and Satan on the left hand”. Have you ever heard the term, “The left hand of God”? I know I have not. I wonder when such terms came into use and why? I ask too many questions but that is me!
