i think you get me wrong

following situation:
all tables and view's are closed

the i issue the select like in the previous post.

what i wanted to know is if foxpro joins all the tables like it is defined
in the view (a join over 4 tables), or if it 'sees': "ahh he (I) only want fields from table1 and table2" and then don't perform the joins on table3 and table4 (cause they weren't needed anyway)

or if FoxPro joins all the Tables everytime and just returns the selected columns
