Base de données, Tables, Vues, Index et syntaxe SQL
Hi,
just to clarify the matter of the question
i have a rather complex ER Modell, where
i have a n-m table whichs connects firms to people, each of these firms
have several addresses which are stored in an address table, and the people also have addresses which are also stored in the address table
the firms also have activities associated in an activity table, there is always one main activity for an firm
now a wanted to do some statitic reports, but our users should have the option to choose the fields for the report
so i thought i could made one monster view which joins all these entities together
and then issue a select statement on that view with an appropriate WHERE clause
would be nice if foxpro mentions that i only want special fields and then ommits the joins that are not included in either the fieldslist or the Where clause
i believe it is not so ..
Regards
Christian
