I am attempting to create a 1 to Many form without havin the child records in a grid. What I have done so far is to create a single table using the wizard, then add the child table and set up the data environment correctly. When I use the navigation bar supplied by the wizard (the next and previous buttons), the record pointer moves through each child record corresponding to the parent record. Once all of the child records have been scrolled through, then it moves to the next parent record.

My problem is when I attempt to add a new record; when I click on the add button, It creates an blank record in both the parent and the child table. What I would like it to do is to prompt the user and ask whether they want to add a new record to the parent table, the child table, or both, like it does when you create a 1 to many form using the wizard.

Any suggestions or places to start?

Thanks
