>I am attempting to create a 1 to Many form without havin the child records in a grid. What I have done so far is to create a single table using the wizard, then add the child table and set up the data environment correctly. When I use the navigation bar supplied by the wizard (the next and previous buttons), the record pointer moves through each child record corresponding to the parent record. Once all of the child records have been scrolled through, then it moves to the next parent record.

What I would like it to do is to prompt the user and ask whether they want to add a new record to the parent table, the child table, or both, like it does when you create a 1 to many form using the wizard.

You can change directly the txtbtns class code or override it in your instance. another tricky way is to add a child grid and make it invisible.
