Just a stab in the dark...
Is there a printer marked as default that is available or, at least, is NOT a network printer? I can't say that I've had this with VFP, but Word2000 will fail shortly after starting on my Win2K system and I luckily found that setting a non-network printer to default printer stopped it, even though there was no actual printer.
Another well-known cause in VFP is HP printer drivers.
good luck

>We have an application (EXE) built in VFP6 SP5 that runs fine on win 95/98 and NT. When run on Win 2000 it generates the C0000005 error. In previous Windows versions this seemed to be a DCom error and was easily rectified by replacing the DCOM with the proper version. Anyone out there run into this problem on 2000? Any help is GREATLY appreciated in advance.
