Someone else is going to have to step in and help, I don't do OLE bound controls like you are trying to use paint.

I prefer to send clients out the the real app so they can use the whole tool natively. What's so wrong with letting them use a different format? They could end up doing that anyway from the start button. If they end up using a format that VFP doesn't support then the image won't appear. You can limit their selection choices and eventually even the densest end user will get the clue that they can't do that.

>That is where I need my help, with the SAVE. I can't get it to save back to the original FILE. We don't want to shell out to PAINT. We want to control what the user is doing. If they shell out, then can save the image in any format. We want the image to stay the same format, just with the updates they made.
