Mike,

>>For those of you who have the backbone to swallow a little truth today. <g>
>
>I don't understand how the spirituality of a single little girl affects the constitutionality of a court decision.

Well, she wasn't damaged as her father asserted now was she?

>
>I don't recall the father lying. Want to prove this? I believe he did say that he doesn't think his little girl shoudl be raised in a mandatory monotheistic society. How that makes him a liar, I'll let you show.

Are you incapable of understanding that the father lied about his daughter being damaged here? How was a little Christian girl damaged by reciting the words, "In God we trust"? He lied that she was damaged plainly.

>
>The only issue here is about a supposedly secular (and for good reason) government supporting a monetheistic religion above all other lifesytles. If you can't swallow that, you're the one lacking backbone.

Why are you leaving out the polytheistic religious systems Mike? They too have defined gods. And, as I have pointed out before Islam, prior to Mohammad, was polythestic in nature.

The government isn't supposed to be secular or to support any one religious system over another. It's suppose dto be neutral. Secularism is as much a faith as mine is. Mother Earth (Gaia) and all the other nonsense that springs from it is only one example.

Perhaps you're just ignorant.
Best,
