Exactly. There are ways to do anything (like an app object for higher level scoping). I was answering the issue of "different kinds of OOP" - they aren't different, just different ways of support...

I know PowerBuilder has a variable with that type of scope... I just don't remember it's uses at this time. After working with VFP for so long I guess I got used to working without it, perhaps by having an app object to store info that more than one class needed access to.
