The problem is, who will be the judge to tell us that the evidences presented are acceptable or not? None. You may see it acceptable but to some it's not.

Actually JVP's preachings and advises re: .Net helped me think different today not during VB6 and VFP6. It doesn't mean though that I totally based my decisions on it. Just mere added flavor of what I have in mind. In fact he was the first one I know who have reservations regarding .Net.

Let's say 50% of John's advices are flawed, meaning totally unacceptable, then carefully I need to consider the other 50%.
