Dear JVP

>>The award is for PAST work, not what one does currently. I will be the first to admit that in the past year, my technical posting level does not warrant the award for 2002. I think that hits the salient part of your post...<<

I think you have just displayed the sophistry/circumlocution that were the salient points of my post. I observed that you use sophistry/circumlocation so you can direct threads the way you want and "prove" things without, or contrary to, the facts. Just as you are doing here. It annoys people and I can see why you are a common factor in almost all dissention around here.

My point is not what the MVP award is supposed to be for, or whether you deserve to be an MVP, or how slow MS is to notice MVPs coasting along- I made that point 2 years ago and am well aware of MS's position.

"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
