Huh? Try ... 1) Flying the flag for their development tool of choice; 2) Raising the profile of VFP in a cost effective way.

There must be tons of VFP apps out there that people use and never have a clue that the underlying development tool is VFP. Maybe you can't convince IT decision makers with this sort of thing but "ordinary users" who gain benefit from an application might create some influence because an application they use and like and works for them is "powered by Visual Foxpro" - well fancy that!

I gather from your posts that you just don't see things this way. Your approach to VFP is generally negative and therefore you will never see the value of this type of initiative in a month of Sundays. With respect, I am unsure why you even bother commenting on this sort of thing because your view can usually be pre-empted when it comes down to promoting or being positive about VFP.
