Now that I have the Lexmark installed, it won't scan- the cid progresses about 1/4 inch then sits there humming loudly. It sounds as if something is physically obstructing passage.
The "Troubleshooting" is really helpful:
"Do I have the item to be scanned lined up properly?" Yes, though I'm not sure that is the cause.
"Have I deinstalled and reinstalled in case it is a software problem?" Of course.
And that's it. The website is equally helpful. So it'll have to go back to Best Buys. Stay tuned.
