If you don't want to modify the rights of the IUSR_ account, you can use the other two modes of authentification: "Basic authentification" or "Integrated windows authentification" . To make this changes you'll have to right-click on the name of your web-site, chose Properties, then go to Directory Security page , click on the first button Edit and here, uncheck the first checkbox and check on of the other two.
