I agree. It is much more intuitive for me to start counting with 1. I remember reading somewhere the rational for using 0, but can't remember it.

I believe in VFP, it's more easier to manipulate an array when the first element is indexed at 1. I believe there is also a request to have the 0 based index supported as well. So, it depends on each developer's POV. However, it would be cool if those environments would support such an ability to indicate the 0 based indexing or 1 based indexing.
