Agreement that VFP is going down the tubes?

This is the point of this thread. Not to blame people, but to see why using VFP is beneficial or not beneficial.

To react positively, one must learn a new language? Is that the only alternative?

Should a favorite tool go at all? If it is a favtorite - why should it go or "Decline".
