Thanks for the replies. It turns out that VFP was installed on the original Novell 4.x server (running OK), but was copied from 4.x server to the new 5.1 server (locking up workstations). Networking has since "installed" VFP on the new 5.1 server, and that solved the problem (Now, this is what I'm told 3rd hand ;^) Guess there is more to moving VFP on a LAN than a simple file copy... Anyway, I'm keeping your comments in case there is more to this issue.
