Ah, the joys of a classical education. I too studied Latin for 2 years- compulsory for the class I was in
There is no room for Latin in many schools these days because students are too busy learning "molecules"; this consists of plugging 2 red and 1 blue globe onto connectors and getting an A+ for correctly constructing water.
