Most of this is our fault. If a majority of voters would vote against all incumbents in all elections, then politicians would stop politic-ing and voting in ways that will get them re-elected and start voting on what is right [hopefully]. Until voters quit voting for crooks because s/he is thier crook and through the bums out, we have little hope of real change. It will be intresting to see how many votes Traficant gets in Ohio.

IMO, the only way to get government out of our lives as much as possible, is to get those that govern out of office as quickly as possible. AFAIC, Congress should only be allowed to convene in August with no air conditioning and in emergency situations.
