The company that I am consulting wants all the French version of Windows NT Workstations (4.0) operating system to be installed on all PCs. I have already changed them all to the French language version.

I have also purchased French keyboards for these workstations. The Engliah keyboards produce the same effect as the French ones:

My problem is that at the Windows NT 4.0 Workstation "Login" screen, entering the username and password from the keyboard produces an incorrect keyed entry. Let's say for example that the username is "carla" and the password is also "carla", typing "carla" from the keyboard actually types "cqrlq". The a's are q's and vice versa. If I were to type "cqrlq" it would actually be "carla" and I would be allowed access to the desktop.

For your information the m's ar ;'s and vice versa, or something to that extent. Trying to login as "Administrator" would actually be something like "Qd;inistrqtor". I don't want to always type the previous to get the correct word. It could be very time consuming and I just don't like to implement such a procedure within the company.

Once passing the "Login" screen the keyboard works fine. It is just at the "Login" screen.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to setup a keyboard the generates the proper key strokes at the login level?
