Running VFP 6.0 under Win2000, I am running an executable containing a form with the DeskTop property set to True and ShowWindow set to 2 (belongs to desktop). I am setting _Screen.WindowState to 1 (minimized) in the Load of the form (I tried putting it in the main prg, but then nothing would show at all). The result is that the window appears to float independently on the desktop.

I have a small problem and a big problem.

Small: the VFP application screen blinks as it is opening. How can I prevent that?

Big: when I exit the form, the VFP app window remains on the task bar and I cannot close it except by ending the task in the Task Manager. I tried CLEAR ALL, CLEAR, CLOSE ALL, RELEASE ALL, _SCREEN.RELEASE, QUIT. What am I doing wrong?
