1st.Are you activating this program from a shortcut? if yes change the shortcut properties to start minimized

2nd.I am assuming that your starting the program from a *.prg like

do form yadayada
read events

if this is so you will need to put a "clear read" or "clear events" (i can't remember which one) in the release event of your form
